One of the goals of our Gulamerian Scholarship Program is to ensure that teenagers who grow up in orphanages are able to learn a trade or profession they can use once they transition out of these orphanages when they turn 18. Today, there are 117 teenagers and young people involved in the Gulamerian Scholarship Program, 80 of whom study cooking, cosmetology, carpentry, computer skills, etc. Typically, following their graduations from these programs, FAR helps them by gifting them the necessary equipment and tools they need to enter their new trades.
