Ayo!’s anti-smoking campaign on World No Tobacco Day (May 31) brought much-needed awareness to public health issues caused by smoking. Ayo!’s young volunteers interacted with passers-by in downtown Yerevan, distributing educational pamphlets on the dangers of smoke and inviting smokers to give up their cigarettes in exchange for a celebratory sweet.

On April 18, FAR’s fundraising platform Ayo! together with the Gyumri Information Technology Center (GTech) organized an Easter event with a goal to spread joy and happiness among the elders attending FAR’s Gyumri Soup Kitchen and to raise awareness on the recently launched EyeCare Project. More than 50 elders enjoyed the Easter concert featuring the young students of the Gyumri Octet Music School – with a varied repertoire from Armenian classical music and songs to Armenian folk dances. Ayo!, FAR’s crowdfunding platform, just launched a new campaign to raise funds for the Hrazdan Day Care Center for Disabled Children. The Center, which normally provides social, educational, and healthcare support to nearly 150 disabled children in Hrazdan city and surrounding villages of Kotayq Province, lost their funding January 1st and was forced to cease operations.
