[GTech]: GTech Now Offers Night Classes standard

In an effort to offer greater opportunity to those who wish to pursue careers in the growing field of IT, GTech is now offering night classes to students who work or who have other obligations during the daytime. Courses cover HTML, CSS, JAVAScript, PHP, and CMS, particularly WordPress, are held three times a week. They run for eight months, after which participants who pass their final exams will be awarded GTech certificates.

[GTech]: IT Training Course Offers New Employment Opportunity for GTech Students standard

The second round of training courses in IT project management wrapped up at GTech in October. The training program is a result of a new partnership between GTech and E-Works Lab, with support from USAID’s Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness project (EDMC). Courses aim to develop students’ level of knowledge in the field of project management, and also offer them an opportunity to gain some professional experience at e-Works Gyumri once they complete the training. Second year GTech student Karen Gasparyan was recently hired by e-Works as a Junior Developer.

[GTech]: Start of Summer Session Courses in GTech standard

GTech’s summer session courses began on July 1, 2013. The course are set to last two months. This summer, GTech is offering courses in English, math, computer engineering, and programming basics. The aim of these courses is to give students the chance to gain preliminary knowledge in the field of programming and better orient them on their path to their future careers. This year there are 40 participants in the summer courses. 34 are studying to apply for GTech’s two-year intensive IT program and the rest are studying computer basics.
