Join FAR on Venture Armenia
The two-week Venture Armenia journey offers participants an exciting, new and unique way to experience Armenia with the potential to contribute to the betterment and development of Armenia.
In 2016, Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) and the Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America (AESA) announced this exciting professional development opportunity for ambitious Armenian-Americans. As one of the preeminent diasporan organizations with offices in Armenia, FAR has the relationships, experience and expertise to successfully organize these trips. And with programs that cover five main areas, which incorporate initiatives in healthcare, education, IT, business and science, it is in the ideal position to connect Armenian-American professionals and students with the right network to reach and expand their career goals.
Through its own mentorship program, AESA identifies potential participants in the fields of engineering, technology, research and development, architecture, construction and law, among others.
While the itinerary will include visits to some of Armenia’s key cultural and historic sites, this two-week trip largely focues on networking and forging professional connections.
Participating AESA mentors and mentees who sign up for the trip will be able to gain deep and unique insight by connecting with Hayastantsi Armenians in the same respective fields. Whether they are looking for an internship in Armenia, work or business opportunities or simply networking with their peers, participants will interact with the right people. Individually tailored itineraries will be planned prior to the trip.
The first Venture Armenia journey is planned to take place in July 2016.
Those interested in should go to www.venturearmenia.com or contact Arto Vorperian at FAR or Aram Setian at AESA for more information and to sign up for the trip. The number of participants in this first trip is extremely limited and will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis through selection criteria.
