Another great group of kids just wrapped up a wonderful 21 days at FAR’s Aragats summer camp in Kotayk Province.

Camp kicked off July 8th when 120 children from Shirak, Tavush, Syunik, and Yerevan, arrived. All children who go to Aragats are from vulnerable families or single-parent households. Participants included FAR Children’s Center beneficiaries and Syrian-Armenian refugees.

Their emotional three weeks were filled fun and lots of interesting moments, including sports and games, arts and crafts, and traditional Armenian song and dance. New friendships were forged, and old ones strengthened. The kids also went on field trips to different architectural-historical monuments to learn more about the history of the region.

Thanks to the SJS Foundation, another group of 80 children arrived at the end of July and will stay until August 17th.
