CASP - Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will I be assigned a specific child to sponsor?
Yes. When you become a sponsor, you will be matched with a specific child in need. Your donation directly supports that child, providing essential resources to improve their well-being.

2) Can I communicate with the child I’m sponsoring?
Yes. FAR facilitates communication between sponsors and the children they support. If you’d like to send a letter or message, simply reach out to FAR, and we will ensure it is delivered. Likewise, the child may write to you, and we will pass along their message. While direct communication isn’t possible, we do our best to foster meaningful connections between sponsors and children.

3) Can I visit the child I sponsor?
If you’re traveling to Armenia and would like to meet the child you sponsor, FAR can coordinate a visit with the child’s family. With their consent, we will arrange a time and place for you to meet.

4) Can I send additional gifts?
Yes. Sponsors may send additional monetary gifts for special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or simply to provide extra support. However, in-kind gifts (such as physical items) cannot be accepted at this time.

5) How much of my donation goes directly to the child?
100% of your sponsorship funds go directly to the child’s family, helping to provide essentials like clothing, school supplies, and food.

6) Can I sponsor more than one child?
Absolutely. There is a great need for support, and we welcome sponsors who wish to help multiple children. If you are able, sponsoring more than one child can make an even greater impact.

7) What is the Kindergarten Meal Project?
In addition to sponsorships, CASP provides nutritious meals for kindergarten students in Armenia. This initiative ensures that young children receive the nourishment they need to grow and learn. Contributions to the Kindergarten Meal Project are separate from child sponsorships and benefit the program as a whole.
