Last week, current Continuing Medical Education Program(CME) participants attended a lecture at Yerevan’s National Medical Library (NML) on evidence-based medicine, which combines clinical expertise, patient values and concerns, and sound research, into the decision-making process for patient care. The lecture was organized by Ruben Hovanessian, professor at the National Institute of Health. This is another step toward introducing physicians to evidence-based approaches in medicine and the use of medical protocols and standards.
FAR has supported NML since 1992 through the contribution of resources, including medical books and journals, along with website development.
