In an effort to help them get a better handle on the language, Gyumri Information Technology Center (GTech) has recently started an English Club for its second year students. The club meets twice a week for two hours at a time. Sessions are focused on presentation skills and on developing fluency.
GTech recognizes the importance of being able to use the English language in the international IT sector and the institution strives to make its students more competitive by utilizing the best possible training. Club sessions are led by GTech professors Lilith Harutyunyan and Mariam Harutyunyan, and Peace Corps volunteer Darryn Glenn. We look forward to continuing the students’ English language progression throughout their time at GTech.
