Bravo Vladimir Arzumanyan! Congratulations Armenia!
An upbeat song performed by an Armenian boy won the hearts of Europe Saturday night bringing Armenia its first-ever top place in a popular pan-European song contest for children.
Karabakh capital Stepanakert-born Vladimir Arzumanyan, 12, represented Armenia at Junior Eurovision 2010 held in Minsk, Belarus, and sang the song “Mama” that brought him a total of 120 points in a combined tele-voting and jury voting after the show that featured 13 other contestants.
