Updated: Jan 2, 2023

Gtech graduate Hovhannes Atoyan on September 28 participated in Synopsys’ Annual International Olympics, an intellectual and academic competition. Hovhannes received the top prize for both the physics and math competitions.

Synopsys Armenia, an IT company, organizes the competition each year. The first rounds take place in various towns around the country, with playoffs held in Yerevan.

Programmers from Europe and from the USA also participated in the contest, testing their knowledge of programs like Verilog, Digital Shemas, Discrete Math, along with physics and theory of probability.

All of us at FAR and Gtech congratulate Hovhannes and wish him the best of luck in the final rounds!

FAR, in partnership with several technology companies, created GTech in 2005 with the goal of broadening the skills of young Armenians and expanding opportunities in the region. GTech also helps to bolster development by providing an incubator space for new start up IT businesses.
