About 35 people attended the March 16 lecture where Jason Paul Kazarian, former executive director of FAR’s Gyumri Information Technologies Center, spoke about Armenia’s progress in information technology. The lecture was held at the Armenian Society of Los Angeles in Glendale, CA, and was free and open to the public.
Jason, who is now a principal engineer at Left Brained Geeks, covered a variety of topics, including the availability of IT resources, like cell phones and their impact on society, technology’s importance to the average Armenian, and how IT is impacting education and business in Armenia.
For those who couldn’t attend, lecture slides are posted on Jason’s website.
