A statue honoring renowned astrophysicist Victor Hambardzumyan is finally being unveiled in Yerevan. The statue had been erected in December, but was covered because of nearby café construction. The civic organization “We Own our City” protested against the presence of cafes obscuring the view of the honored scientist’s statute. Now, the café construction has been stopped while improvements are being made on the park.
