For months, Satenik, Sofi, Susanna, and Abraham have been rehearsing tirelessly. Today, their efforts comes to life as they take the stage for the premiere of The Revealed Secrets, a play inspired by Armine Anda’s The Night of Secrets.
Brought to life by the MIASIN theatrical group—with the generous support of the Mirak-Weissbach Foundation—this performance marks another milestone for the young actors. Each of them embodies their role with confidence: Satenik, in her flowing blue dress, represents the river; Sofi, with her greenish wings, is the fairy of the forest; Susanna sparkles as the fairy of the stars; and Abraham, standing tall and resolute, plays the central figure of the story—the fir tree.
“We all have secrets, and in this performance, we reveal them,” says Abraham, now a seasoned performer after more than a year of acting. He steps onto the stage at the National Center Supporting Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities, a space recently renovated and modernized by FAR, and reassures his castmates with a quiet confidence.

“It takes months to prepare a performance like this. For these children, theater is more than art—it’s a special therapy. It helps them overcome fears, express themselves, and grow comfortable in front of an audience,” says Marine Asatryan, the play’s director who has been working with these children for years now.
MIASIN is set to echo its plays across Armenia, inspiring children with special needs to join the group and overcome challenges they may encounter on their way. We at FAR encouraged them to open their potential and we are committed to ensuring these children experience a joyful and peaceful childhood, blossoming into integral contributors to our world. However to make this happen, we still need your support and we ask you to consider donating to FAR today and help us keep making a difference.
The National Center Supporting Inclusive Education for CWDs is generously sponsored by the Fund for Armenian Relief through generosity of our Friends "Hovsep Foundation," "The John Mirak Foundation" and "Myron and Mary Shahinian Stapanian Fund.
