On this special and meaningful day, we celebrate the strength, care, and dedication of incredible women like Gohar Karapetyan.

For 30 years, Gohar, 62, has been the heart of FAR’s Yeghsapet Jambazian/Mangoian Soup Kitchen in Nor Hachn, Kotayk Province. Since 1994, she has dedicated her life to preparing warm, nutritious meals for 150 vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, people with disabilities, the unemployed, and low-income families.

But Gohar is more than a cook-she is a source of comfort, empowerment, and maternal care for the people she serves. Through her kindness and devotion, she has turned the soup kitchen into a place of nourishment, dignity, and community.
