Years ago, Armenian study chairs were established at Venice and Bologna universities thanks to the efforts of professors Levon Zekiayani and Gabriella Uluhogiani. Great was the chairs’ role in further developing Armenian studies and promoting Armenian-Italian cultural links.
Both professors were awarded with RoA Ministry of Diaspora’s William Saroyan medal, as a token of valuation of their efforts. We extend our congratulations to the scientists on this occasion.
The “William Saroyan” medal of honor was presented to Professor Boghos Levon Zekiyan and Professor Gabriella Uluhogian at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia, Rome, Italy.
