Merry Armenian Christmas!
Have you decided what to prepare for Armenian Christmas, beyond the traditional dishes?
If you're still looking for inspiration, we’re excited to share a special recipe from Svetlana Zakaryan, a FAR-supported social worker who was displaced from Artsakh. This recipe has been passed down through generations in Svetlana’s family.
It’s a traditional Artsakh dish that Svetlana has lovingly prepared for years—first in Artsakh, before her displacement, and now in Armenia. The dish, called “Stuffed Chicken,” is made with rice, dried fruits, onions, and dried mint—a combination that brings warmth and nostalgia to the holiday table.
Watch the video to learn how to make this delicious dish, explore more traditional Artsakh recipes for Christmas, and discover Svetlana’s inspiring story of resilience and hope.
